Gender Stallion
Height 18hh
*Breed Drafts x Arabian
Eye Color Blood Red
Pelt Color Black with red tints
*Markings/Scars No markings; too many scars to list
Appearance Details Shall we start at the head? Like most draft horses, stallions especially, Ranjit has a very thick, heavy head. In no way does to reflect his mother's fine Arab features. Set into this heavy head, is a pair of gleaming red jewels. Yes, my friends, these are eyes. His neck, like his father's, is thick and high crested, with waves of dark crimson tresses falling down it. His body is heavy-set, but in now way is he fat in any sense of the word. Every pound on him is pure muscle. Now, he might be muscled, but I wouldnt call him drop dead gorgeous; his body is covered in old scars from past fights he has been in. His tail is long and heavy, the same dark hue of his mane. With a coat as black as the midnight sky, this stallion blends in well with the shadowy places of the world. When he stands in the light, however, his coat shimmers and black-red. It has been said that he waded through blood to get this and maybe he has, but I know where it really came from. His mothers coat was a bloody red in hue and the hairs mixed into his, giving him this unqiue hue.
Personality Unusual for a stallion, Ranjit is quiet, rather withdrawn. He keeps to himself, even when leading his herd. He does not trust easy and does not stand for betrayal. If you pledge loyality to him, he expects you to keep it til the day you die. Break that trust and you will have a monster after you. Ranjit expects order; he expects the horses of his herd to bow down to him and do everything he asks-commands-of them, no matter what might happen to them. Indeed, if he asked you to throw yourself off a cliff, it would be smarter to do that rather than say no to him. Punishments are cruel and often dealt swiftly. Ranjit is no fool, nor will he stand for a fool. He is cunning in battle, wise in leadership. However, he is not as good in battle planning as one would think he would be. He has the mind state of a dictator and loves power. He wants control over the land, like the Royals of the past had. Love is not something this stallion will easily accept as something real. He never really felt love, by anyone, not even his parents. Because of this, he really does not believe it exists. However, that does not mean he wont breed with a mare to produce an heir; it might be a forcebred though. He cares not for foals, meaning any son or daughter of his wont get much love from him. He enjoys murder, torture, things along that kind of nature. You wont see him skipping through a field of flowers singing 'Tiptoe through the Tulips'. Stalking around a barren wasteland filled with dead corpses whispering evil things, yes.
Past Ranjit was not born in this land. He was born many miles away, in a land without a name. He was born to Galaxite and Litala. His father and mother were not King and Queen of this land, they were only followers of the king.
Ranjit did not get his name as soon as he was born. His parents had two names picked out; Ranjit and Death. They were unable to decide, so they waited, deciding to let Ranjit prove himself of the herd. They had to wait a measly three weeks. Ranjit was playing with a few other colts when a bully who was only a couple of weeks older than Ranjit came and started being mean to him. Ranjit ignored him for a while but soon the colt struck.
That was his first and last mistake, because Ranjit slaughtered him. His parents watched the whole thing and decided then and there he was to be called Ranjit, which means victorious in battle. And he has been from the on.
The King of the land around there was interested in the colt. He came to visit and asked to see Ranjit. He took a liking to the colt and decided to train hi in battle himself. He, and his top general began to train the foal.
At two years old, his mother admitted that he had had a sister once. He asked what happened to her and his mother said she had been killed by cougars. Ranjit did not seem to care, because he did not. He owed no allegiance to a sister long dead.
Not long after this, his mother's body was found. It looked like she had been raped along with murdered. Ranjit's father went insane at the loss of his mate, which disgusted the young Ranjit. Galaxite took to attacking members of his herd. He made the grave mistake of attacking Ranjit. Ranjit killed him and left.
The colt did not get far. A gang of young pumas attacked him and killed him. Ranjit descended into the pits of hell, furious that he had been beaten. The devil came to Ranjit, willing to give him his life back. The devil was a pure white horse, with dragon like wings of pure black. His main and tail were red, as were his eyes.
He told Ranjit he could have his life back if the devil got his soul. Ranjit agreed instantly. He was given his life back, but with more. He was granted dragon like wings like the devil had, along with red eyes. And powers! He could control fire, the weather, and others. What he did not know was that the devil was inside of him, replacing his soul.
Ranjit wandered around, killing horses and having for a long time. One day, the devil inside of Ranjit took his revenge. He told Ranjit he had used up the power that he had been given. He lost everything and fled the land he had been in.
